How can I join?

Do I need to have any previous singing experience?
Definitely no! As long as you love singing together with others, we can't wait to meet you.
Does everyone need to audition in order to join the club?
No, only individuals who would like to join the professional singing group must audition. Find information here.
Which audition songs should I choose? Do you have favorite ones?
It is completely up to you to choose your audition songs. Just try to perform two songs that showcase your voice & singing skills differently.
Do you have a limited amount of students who can join each year?
No, everyone who loves to sing & meet new like-minded people is always welcome at TCD Glee Club - also during the year.
When are this year's concerts?
All the dates can be found on our events page. Also for the club's social events.
Can I bring friends to our club events like the Christmas Baking event or monthly workshops?
Unfortunately no! Only if it is clearly stated at concerts or the Christmas Carols for example.
Can I switch from the Beginners singing group to the professional group?
There is always the chance to do that. We can schedule a small audition for your during the year. Just send us a quick email to let us know.
What happens if I cannot attend one singing session? Should I contact someone?
As we have a WhatsApp Group for both the Beginners Group & the professional, people are often writing a short notice in there. But that is not compulsory!
Will I automatically stay a member in the new academic year?
Yes! We love having a mix of returning & new TCD Glee Club members each year!
